Earlhamite magazine is the oldest college alumni magazine in continuous publication in the United States.
As the art director, my responsibilities ranged from deciding what illustrations to put on publication covers, how to arrange the articles on the page to being responsible for creating and maintaining an overall visual style throughout the publication. I enjoyed figuring out the best way to represent different concepts visually. Although I designed a large portion of the publication, I also worked closely with other creatives to develop additional page layouts, ads copy and imagery. My administrative duties included managing budgets, coordinating deadlines and managing print vendor relations.
